The Fryderyk Chopin Institute invites you to take part in a competition for visual identification of the 18th Fryderyk Chopin International Piano Competition.
The graphic presentation of one of the oldest music competitions in the world has always inspired great interest. Its first edition in 1927 brought with it the birth of a Chopin poster concept that has endured without interruption until this day. Its essence is the combination of a typographic element with symbolism referring both to the person of Fryderyk Chopin, and to the long-standing tradition of the Chopin Competition.
The competition shall proceed in two rounds. In the first of them, participants shall submit an application form and a graphic design in B1 poster format and technique, fulfilling the requirements contained in the Competition Rules and Regulations, on or before 10 May 2017.
No more than three participants shall be admitted to the second round. Participants in the second round shall send to the organiser, on or before 30 June 2017, all elements of the visual identification of the 18th Fryderyk Chopin International Piano Competition, listed in the Rules and Regulations.
Each candidate may submit up to three drawings (JPG 300 dpi and EPS vector format).
There is no entry fee.
