The Indigo Design Award 2027 is an international competition celebrating excellence in graphic design, digital design, branding, and design for social change. The programme welcomes work from agencies, freelancers, and students, providing an international platform for creative professionals to present outstanding design projects across a wide range of categories.
Organised as an annual global design competition, the Indigo Design Award recognises innovation, craftsmanship, and effective visual communication. Entries are reviewed by an international jury of design professionals, with winners selected across numerous category awards as well as major annual honours recognising exceptional achievement.
Participating offers designers an opportunity to have their work evaluated by experienced industry experts while gaining recognition through one of the established international design award programmes. The competition encourages high-quality contemporary design and brings together creative talent from around the world through its awards, annual winners announcement, and related events.
Entry fee: Students: USD 100 per initial entry plus USD 30 for each additional category; Freelancers: USD 150 per initial entry plus USD 50 for each additional category; Agencies: USD 250 per initial entry plus USD 70 for each additional category. Early Bird discounts apply during announced discount periods.
Eligibility
Open to agencies, freelance designers, and students worldwide submitting original design work they own or are authorised to enter; entries must be submitted in English and completed within the last five years.
Prize
The competition recognises winners with Gold, Silver, and Bronze awards across categories together with major annual honours including Designer of the Year and other top titles where applicable. Winners receive certificates, official winner seals and badges, a year-long showcase on the Indigo Award winners page, promotion through Indigo channels, complimentary admission to the award ceremony, while Designer of the Year recipients also receive a trophy and a featured interview.
