The Global Peace Photo Award 2025 is an international photography competition dedicated to highlighting visual stories of peace, compassion, and humanity’s enduring quest for harmony. Photographers from diverse backgrounds around the world are invited to submit compelling images that showcase powerful narratives of reconciliation, solidarity, and hope. The award emphasizes not only technical skill and artistic expression but also the emotional resonance and storytelling strength of each submitted photograph.
Participants have the opportunity to present their work across multiple categories, including single images and captivating photo stories. Additionally, a special children’s category encourages young photographers aged 14 and under to express their visions of peace, fostering creativity and global awareness among the next generation. This inclusive approach positions the Global Peace Photo Award as a distinctive platform that bridges age groups, cultures, and experiences, emphasizing the universal pursuit of peace and mutual understanding.
Established as one of the most respected and inspirational photography awards globally, the competition actively promotes impactful visual journalism and creative photography that underscores positivity and social cohesion. Winning photographs receive international recognition, extensive media coverage, and are exhibited prominently, including at the prestigious Austrian Parliament in Vienna. By participating, photographers contribute to a meaningful global dialogue, inspiring audiences to reflect on the importance of peace and cooperation in our interconnected world.
