Now in its 19th edition, the Design-A-Sock Contest invites fans and artists around the world to submit unique sock designs, and maybe win the opportunity to see it produced. This is more than just a competition; it's a celebration of creativity, individuality, and the human spirit. This global event encourages creatives from all corners to express themselves and share their wildest ideas.

This exciting event was born out of founder Carrie Atkinson's desire to connect with customers and artists on a more personal level. As the contest has grown over the years, it has become a symbol of hope and inspiration, showing that no matter who you are or where you come from, you have the power to build something beautiful and unique. Thousands of entries pour in each year, from pro artists and college students to families and even art teachers who submit folders full of their students' creations.

Maximum of 5 original entries per person, and maximum 6 colours per design. Any socks produced, are created with the artist’s permission first. If they like a design that doesn’t win, they’ll contact you to see if you are interested before they move forward with production.

There is no entry fee.

Eligibility

Open to people 18 and older. Parents and legal guardians of children under 18 also may submit designs created by their children.

Prize

The winner will receive a 2,000 USD cash prize and their sock may be produced in one of the company’s future product lines. Second place will win a prize of 1,000 USD and third place will receive 650 USD.
