The Hiii Illustration International Awards 2024 invites submissions from illustrators, creative agencies, educators, and students from around the world. This annual competition celebrates creativity and innovation across five categories: Commercial, Publishing, Children’s Picture Book, Uncommissioned Work, and Animation. Since its inception in 2012, the Hiii Illustration Awards has attracted more than 30,000 entries from over 100 countries, reviewed by a panel of over 60 esteemed international judges. The competition is known for its rigorous three-round evaluation process, ensuring that only the most exceptional works receive recognition. Judges include renowned illustrators, designers, and creative directors from across the globe, who bring their expertise and discerning perspectives to the selection process. Entry fee: First round: Free; Second round: $20 for single entries, $40 for series entries; Third round: Free ($60 for Children’s Book or Animation categories).
Eligibility
Open to illustration works created or published from April 2022 to April 2025, excluding AI-generated or modified works.
Prize
Winners receive a package including award certificates, use of the Hiii Illustration winner label, online exhibitions, city-based winners’ exhibitions, and additional promotional services. Categories include Grand Prix (1 winner), Jury Award (5 winners), Best of the Best (20 winners), Merit Award (100 winners), and Finalist (300 winners). Winners are also featured in Hiii Illustration books, receive trophies, and gain media exposure.
