Posterheroes is an international poster design competition organized by the cultural association PLUG in collaboration with partners including Favini, ITC-ILO, and Fondazione Time2. Now in its 15th edition, the competition continues its focus on social communication, inviting creatives worldwide to respond to urgent cultural and societal questions through visual language. Participants are asked to design posters in a 70×100 cm format addressing contemporary issues with strong communicative impact.

The 2026 theme “Still Human” explores the evolving relationship between humans and artificial intelligence. Rather than judging technology, the brief encourages participants to reflect on how algorithms, data, and automated systems influence perception, creativity, and decision-making. It raises questions about authorship, responsibility, and the value of human experience in a world increasingly shaped by machine-generated outputs, prompting designers to visualize the boundaries between human agency and technological systems.

The competition welcomes a wide international audience, from students to professional designers, and allows up to three submissions per participant. An international jury of design experts will evaluate entries based on originality, relevance, and communicative strength, selecting a group of winning posters that contribute to a global conversation about humanity, ethics, and creativity in the age of AI.

Entry fee: Free entry (up to 3 posters per participant)

Open to individuals of legal age worldwide, including students, professionals, and teams, submitting original and unpublished poster designs.
