Submit your print or online magazine to the ICMA Magazine Awards. Entries are open until November 6, 2026.
Winning an award can help to set your magazine apart and highlight its quality in the eyes of readers and advertisers. It also provides an opportunity to recognise the editors, art directors, designers and photographers who bring each issue to life.
The 17th ICMA Worldwide Magazine Awards 2026 recognise magazine and editorial design from around the world. Organised by the International Editorial Design & Research Forum, the competition accepts print magazines and trade journals as well as online magazines and other digital publications. Categories cover magazines, trade journals, online publications, social media projects and concept work. Subcategories include cover design, typography and layout, photography, photo reportage, visual storytelling, infographics, illustration and print finishing. An international jury evaluates the entries, considering design, typography, originality and innovation.
Entry fee: €324 per magazine entry during the late-entry period, including the 20% surcharge on the standard €270 fee and covering two different issues; entrants in a main category may submit up to four parts of that publication in each subcategory at no additional charge; statutory VAT applies in Germany.
Eligibility
Open to individuals and companies of any nationality submitting magazine work created between January 1, 2025 and October 31, 2026, with customer magazines distributed free by companies belonging in the separate ICMA Content Marketing section.

The ICMA presents Gold, Silver and Bronze awards, alongside Awards of Excellence for outstanding individual achievements. Each award-winning work receives a personalised PDF certificate showing the publication and crediting the client and agency or designer.
