Participants can submit up to 15 photos per category, with a total of 90 possible submissions. Prize
The competition offers several awards, including a Grand Prize of $2,500. Each of the six category winners will receive $500, and there is also a Readers’ Choice prize worth $500. In total, eight awards will be given. Winners will be featured on the Smithsonian website, with the finalists and category winners revealed in spring 2025.
