The FIBA Photo Contest 2024 is a global photography competition that celebrates the dynamic and emotional world of basketball through powerful visuals. This year, the theme, "Emotions," challenges photographers to capture and convey the intense, personal, and communal emotions that arise within the sport. From the adrenaline-fueled excitement of players on the court to the unity and fervor of fans in the stands, the contest aims to highlight the emotional impact of basketball on people across cultures and backgrounds. With this theme, FIBA encourages entrants to think beyond the game itself and focus on the profound human experiences it inspires.
Launched by the International Basketball Federation (FIBA), this annual photo contest is open to professional and amateur photographers alike, making it accessible to anyone passionate about basketball and photography. Entrants are encouraged to submit their best work, showcasing the ways basketball touches lives around the world. Each year, FIBA receives an impressive array of submissions, and the 2024 contest is expected to feature even more diverse, high-quality entries. The "Emotions" theme aligns closely with FIBA’s mission to promote the global impact of basketball, emphasizing the deep connection people have with the sport in their everyday lives.
