The Epson International Pano Awards is widely recognised as the world’s leading competition dedicated exclusively to panoramic photography. Established in 2010, the awards celebrate the creativity, technical mastery, and storytelling power of panoramic images captured by photographers from around the globe. Each year the competition attracts thousands of entries from both professional and amateur photographers, making it one of the most prestigious international photography competitions focused on wide-format imagery, landscape panoramas, and immersive visual storytelling.
The competition showcases a diverse range of panoramic photography styles and subjects, highlighting the artistic possibilities of the panoramic format. Participants submit images across multiple divisions, including the Open category for professional photographers, the Amateur category for emerging talent, and VR/360 for immersive panoramic imagery. Within these divisions, photographers compete in categories such as Nature and Landscape, Built Environment and Architecture, and Aerial Panorama, allowing artists to demonstrate both technical skill and creative vision in capturing sweeping vistas, cityscapes, and dramatic natural scenes.

Entry fee: Approximately US$20 per image for Amateur or VR/360 categories and US$22 per image for the Open category.
Eligibility
Open worldwide to photographers of all levels; entries must be panoramic images (minimum 2:1 aspect ratio), with separate divisions for professionals (Open), non-professionals (Amateur), and immersive panoramic formats (VR/360).
Prize
The awards typically offer a prize pool worth more than US$50,000, including cash prizes, photographic equipment, and other rewards. Previous editions have included around $15,000 in cash alongside items such as cameras, printers, and other imaging gear, plus international exposure through exhibitions, publications, and media coverage. Winning photographers and top-ranked images are showcased globally, helping participants gain recognition and professional visibility in the field of panoramic photography.
