Circulation(s), the European Young Photography Festival, has opened its Call for Applications 2027 for emerging photographic projects. The festival is organized under the artistic direction of the Fetart collective and is dedicated to contemporary European photography, bringing together artists, professionals and the public through a program that explores the boundaries between photography and contemporary art.

The 2027 call has no set theme. Photographers may submit a photographic series, and projects that combine photography with other media such as video, installation or sound are welcome, reflecting the festival’s interest in experimental and cross-disciplinary visual storytelling.

Selected artists will become part of the next Circulation(s) festival edition, a platform focused on new European photographic voices. For photographers at the beginning of their careers, the call offers a direct route into a curated festival context in Paris and into a wider professional conversation around emerging photography.

Entry fee: Early Bird applications are free from April 28 to May 24, 2026; the full fee is €20 per application from May 25 to June 7, 2026.

    Eligibility

Open to photographers of European nationality and/or resident in Europe who are at the start of their careers, with no age limit, have never had a major exhibition in France, have not previously participated in Circulation(s), submit one photographic series per application, and disclose any use of artificial intelligence in producing the images.

    Prize

Selected artists will be exhibited as part of the 2027 edition of the Circulation(s) festival; the accessible official 2027 call confirms the selection and exhibition framework but does not state a cash prize.
