The Leica Street Photo Contest is an international photography competition dedicated to showcasing outstanding street photography from around the world. Now in its fifteenth edition, the contest invites photographers to submit compelling visual narratives captured in public spaces. It highlights works that reflect authentic human moments, urban environments, spontaneous interactions, and the unique character of everyday life.

In this edition, the contest places strong emphasis on creativity, originality, and the ability to observe and document the world with a distinctive photographic voice. Photographers may submit both traditional street photography and more experimental interpretations, allowing for a wide stylistic range. The competition encourages visual storytelling that reveals social dynamics, urban culture, and the emotional depth found in ordinary scenes.

A jury of photography experts and industry professionals selects the top 30 images, which are presented in high-profile exhibitions in Warsaw and at the Leica Gallery Vienna. These exhibitions provide global exposure to emerging and established photographers alike, helping them reach wider audiences, build international recognition, and strengthen their professional portfolios through participation in one of the leading street photography competitions worldwide.

Prize

The Grand Prize winner will receive a Leica Q3 camera; additionally the 30 selected works will be exhibited at the Leica Gallery Vienna and in Warsaw, giving winners international exposure and gallery-recognised display for their work.
