The YICCA International Art Prize 25/26, organized by the Associazione Aps Moho, is a global contemporary art competition designed to promote emerging and established artists on the international stage. Its primary mission is to connect creators with the broader market of contemporary art, fostering opportunities for visibility, networking, and recognition. The contest accepts a wide variety of media, including painting, sculpture, photography, video, installations, and performance art, encouraging artistic freedom and experimentation across disciplines. Each participant can submit works up to 3x3 meters in size, presented through images or video, ensuring a comprehensive showcase of contemporary creativity.
The competition’s structure ensures inclusivity and transparency, with no special qualifications required, as artists or groups from any country are eligible to enter. Eighteen finalists will be selected by a jury composed of art professionals, curators, and representatives of the Moho Association and the hosting gallery. The finalists’ works will be exhibited in a major European city, with the venue announced on the official YICCA website prior to the submission deadline. The exhibition will attract collectors, critics, and media representatives, and will be accompanied by an official opening event and buffet. All selected works will be featured in the YICCA catalogue, distributed freely to participants and art professionals during the exhibition’s inauguration.
In addition to exposure and publication, the YICCA International Art Prize 25/26 offers substantial cash awards: €3,000 for the first prize, €1,000 for the second prize, €500 for the third, and a €1,000 special prize reserved for students. Winners are chosen through a balanced evaluation system where one third of the score comes from the jury, one third from the Aps Moho Association, and one third from the hosting gallery, ensuring fairness and recognition of artistic merit. The exhibition will be accompanied by an extensive advertising campaign, maximizing visibility for all finalists. Through its inclusive entry process, professional organization, and international reach, YICCA 25/26 continues to affirm its role as one of the most dynamic and accessible opportunities for artists seeking to engage with the contemporary art world on a global scale.
