To coincide with the 2022 World Cup, Touchstones Rochdale (an art gallery and museum in Rochdale, England) with generous support from Arts Council England, have created The Football Art Prize to celebrate art and football.

Entry is open to two dimensional mediums only, including painting, drawing, digital art, collage, mixed media, textile, photography and moving image.

The submission process is two stage. At first stage the selection process will be digital. If your work is long-listed there will be a physical hand-in of works for selection.

Artists may submit up to four works at 10 GBP (approx. 13 USD) for the first entry and 5 GBP for each additional entry.

Eligibility

Open to to all artists worldwide over the age of 18.

Prize

First Prize: 5,000 GBP (approx. 6,860 USD)
Second Prize: 3,000 GBP
Third Prize 2,000 GBP
