The Alpine Fellowship Visual Arts Prize 2025 seeks to inspire artists worldwide to explore the profound theme of "Fear" through their creative expressions. This annual prize, organized by the Alpine Fellowship Foundation, encourages participants to delve into the complexities of fear, offering a platform for innovative and thought-provoking visual art pieces. By fostering such artistic endeavors, the foundation aims to promote cultural discourse and a deeper understanding of this universal emotion.
Open to artists aged 18 and above from all nationalities, the competition welcomes a diverse range of media, including painting, sculpture, photography, video, and installation. This inclusivity ensures that artists can choose the medium that best conveys their interpretation of the theme. Submissions are limited to one entry per person, and for works that are part of a larger collection, artists are advised to select a single image that best represents their collection’s potential. Notably, artworks generated entirely by AI or generative software are ineligible, and any partial use of such technologies must be disclosed during submission.
The Alpine Fellowship Foundation, based in London, is dedicated to supporting and showcasing artists, writers, poets, musicians, academics, and playwrights. Through initiatives like the Visual Arts Prize, the foundation provides a platform for creatives to engage with pertinent themes, contributing to the enrichment of the global arts community.
