The formerly northern Germany's largest ironworks, the aisles of the decommissioned Carlshütte with 22,000 square metres, a 80,000 square meters sculpture park, as well as public spaces in town will be used as exhibition area.

    There is no entry fee.

    Open to any artist worldwide.

The NordArt-Prize worth 10.000 Euro (approx. 11,600 USD) is being sponsored by Hans-Julius and Johanna Ahlmann (ACO Group) since 2010. Each year one artist is awarded with the aim to support the art and culture scene.

Moreover, the visitors of NordArt can vote for their favourite artist for the Public Choice Award. The three winning artists will be informed and invited to the prize-giving ceremony. Each award is worth 1.000 Euro (approx. 1,160 USD).

The NordArt-Prize and the Public Choice Award will be announced during "The Long Night of the Lights" in September 2018 and the artists will be invited to participate again in the following NordArt.
