Anima 2023, the Brussels Animation Film Festival, has opened the call for entries to its selection programmes for the 42nd edition of the festival.

The Festival offers an official selection with national and international competition of short and feature films, as well as an information section (retrospectives, thematic programmes...). Anima considers all films completed after June 2021 and belonging to the following categories as eligible for competition:

• International Professional Short Films
• International Student Films
• International Short Films for a Young Audience
• Feature Films
• Feature Films for a Young Audience
• National Short Films
• Virtual Reality Short Films

The 42nd edition of the Brussels Animation Film Festival will take place 16–27 February, 2023. In addition to attracting professionals from all over the world, Anima is also a popular and family festival that welcomes more than 40,000 festival-goers every year.

There is no entry fee.
