The 3rd edition of the Don Sante Montanaro Prize for Contemporary Art, organized by the Monsignor Sante Montanaro Foundation, invites artists to reflect on the theme "Reality as a Mirror of the Inner Dimension: New Geographies of Expression." This theme encourages exploration of the dynamics between interiority and exteriority, the subjective world, and surrounding reality, aiming to present updated visions of contemporary life through personal artistic languages.

The competition seeks to engage artists in a profound dialogue about the interplay between internal experiences and external environments. By focusing on "New Geographies of Expression," participants are encouraged to map out innovative artistic territories that bridge personal introspection with the tangible world. This initiative not only highlights individual creativity but also emphasizes the evolving landscapes of contemporary art, where personal narratives intersect with collective realities.

Through this prize, the Monsignor Sante Montanaro Foundation aims to foster a deeper understanding of how art can serve as a reflective surface, mirroring the complexities of human consciousness and its interaction with the external world. By promoting artworks that delve into these themes, the Foundation supports the development of contemporary art that resonates with both personal and universal experiences, enriching the cultural tapestry and encouraging thoughtful engagement with the world around us.
