The François Schneider Foundation invites artists from around the world to participate in the Contemporary Talents competition on the theme of Water.

Artists are invited to submit their offerings on the water theme, realistic or utopian, figurative or abstract, whilst offering a singular and sensitive viewpoint on this theme.

The competition is open to artists presenting a work in the following fields: painting, drawing, sculpture, installation, photography, video or any other form of plastic and visual arts.

For installations and sculptures, artists may present either an existing work or a project. For other disciplines, only an existing work may be presented.

There is no entry fee.

Eligibility

Open to major visual artists, of all nationalities, at the mid-point of their career.

Prize

The jury will choose the 4 “Contemporary Talents” prize-winners whose works will be acquired by the Foundation. Each prize-winner receives 15,000 EUR (approx. 17,640 USD) for the acquisition of their work.
