That's a Mole! is an international illustration contest where participants are asked to create an illustration by interpreting one of the most important icons of the city of Turin (Italy), the Mole Antonelliana monument, starting from its shape.

The competition is inspired by the "Concurso Sardinhas Festas de Lisboa", which has been one of the most followed events in the Portuguese capital for over ten years.

That's a Mole! aims to be as successful in giving visibility and enhancing the participants’ work, while also reinforcing and promoting the attention to culture, community and tourism in the area.

The initiative will enhance the sharing of creative expression both locally and internationally through the diversity and plurality of the work presented and shared.

The contest is open to all, regardless of age. Artwork can be submitted by individuals and/or groups. Each participant could send a maximum of three proposals.

The dimensions and background of the illustration are free of choice, but the final proposal must fit within the 17x40 cm template.

There is no entry fee.

Eligibility

This illustration contest is addressed to everyone worldwide without age limits.

Prize

The winning artwork will receive 1,000 Euro (approx. 1.300 USD).

Moreover, the best 24 artworks with the winning artwork will be exhibited in Turin on the 24th of June 2014 during the San Giovanni patron festival.
