This unique event celebrates the art of theatrical poster design, offering a broad stage for the exhibition of innovative and captivating visual representations of the performing arts. With categories spanning from traditional theatrical presentations, including spectacle, opera, and ballet, to broader performing arts such as music, dance, singing, and performance art, TPAM provides a comprehensive showcase of contemporary visual storytelling in the context of theatre and performance.

As an inclusive forum, TPAM welcomes submissions from individual designers and artists, as well as collectives, theatres, and organizations engaged in the performing arts sector. This initiative not only fosters global participation in the arts but also encourages a diverse range of creative expressions. Each participant is permitted to submit up to three posters that have been produced since May 2022, ensuring that the works presented are fresh and reflective of current trends and styles in theatrical poster design. The Biennale emphasizes the importance of originality and adherence to human rights, categorically excluding any submissions that contain hate speech or contradict the principles of human dignity.
