The 5th Poster for___. International Poster Competition is the latest edition of the international poster design contest run by Poster For__. The competition invites poster makers to use visual communication as a way to express a stance, raise awareness and respond to issues that matter in contemporary society.
For 2026, the competition is organized around six categories: Poster for Climate, Poster for Technology, Poster for Art, Poster for Culture, Poster for 17 UN SDGs Topics, and Drawing/Art. The Drawing/Art category is specifically for hand-drawn poster topics connected to the other categories, with digital drawing not preferred.
Entrants submit their posters by email, following the competition’s technical format and file-naming requirements. With its emphasis on public-interest themes, social awareness and poster-based visual storytelling, the competition is suited to designers and artists who want to develop strong graphic messages for an international audience.
Entry fee: $40 per submission.
Eligibility
Open to designers and artists worldwide; Category F, Drawing/Art, is for hand-drawn posters by entrants under 19, and all submissions must follow the stated poster format and technical requirements.

More than 200 awarded and selected designers will receive certificates, selected posters will be exhibited on a Times Square billboard in New York City, and selected work will be permanently showcased on the PosterFor website and exhibition record.
