    The 2023 China International Poster Biennial (CIPB) is set to be a landmark event in the world of graphic design, marking its 11th edition. Taking place in Hangzhou, China in November 2023, this event began its journey by the iconic West Lake in 2003. Over the years, CIPB has not only fortified its reputation as China’s premier poster design competition but has also carved a niche for itself on the global stage, making it a must-attend for design enthusiasts.

    Poster designs submitted after 2021 by designers, design groups, design organizations, and students worldwide.


    Various awards will be presented to exceptional poster designs. The most prestigious is the Grand Prix, awarded to the best design. Other awards include the Gold award (1 per poster type), Silver award (2 per type), Bronze award (3 per type), and Jury award (1 per judge). The judging panel, consisting of influential figures from the global graphic design community, will make selections based on international best practices.
