Moho Association is pleased to announce the YICCA International Contest of Contemporary Art 16/17 and calls for works by artists from any part of the world. The competition's aim is to promote the enrolled artists, giving them chance to join the international market of contemporary art.
The competition is open to all types of artwork and all techniques are allowed.
There are ten categories:
• Painting
• Photography
• Video
• Installation
• Sculpture
• Digital Graphics
• Animation
• Live Media
• Performance
• Net Art
All works will be presented by a picture or a video that must be followed by a description of the work. All works must be available for the final exhibition and have to be artist's property. You can participate with a work that has already participated in other competitions.
Entry fee is 40 Euro (approx. 43 USD).
Eligibility
Open worldwide to all artists and groups of artists.
Prize
The first and second classified will receive a money prize of value respectively of Euro 3000 (approx. 3,280 USD) and 1000 (approx. 1,090 USD).
The selected artists will have the opportunity to exhibit the submitted works in an art gallery of a European city during May 2017. Their works will be published on the YICCA catalogue which will be distributed free of charge to the finalists and will be available for professionals and institutions invited during the inauguration of the event.
