Takeda Pharmaceutical Company together with the Moscow State Stroganov Academy of Design and Applied Arts is announcing the opening of the international art competition â€Takeda. ART\/HELP. The Rule of the Exception†for students at art schools and universities. The competition is held for the fourth time and is a part of the Takeda Pharmaceutical Company’s major social and cultural programme “Takeda. Pain and Willâ€, which seeks to make the public aware of the importance of developing new paths in medical treatment. The works submitted have to represent the artist’s interpretation of that theme using any style from figurative painting to abstraction. Artists can use various styles and techniques: painted canvases, drawings, watercolours or gouache on paper, and also graphic prints. The size of the work should not exceed 1 meter on the longest side. There is no entry fee. Eligibility: Open worldwide to students of Art Schools and Universities. Prize: The six winning artists will receive monetary prizes from the organisers as well as a special prize from the Takeda Pharmaceutical Company. Seven winners will enjoy an all-expense-paid three-day trip to Moscow to attend the award ceremony. The ceremony will take place in Moscow on 28 February 2020. In addition to the Competition prizes, a separate prize in the category â€For a creative approach to exploring the subject†will be awarded by Takeda Russia as the sole judge.
