Photography 4 Humanity is an international initiative that calls on photographers around the world to bring to life the power of human rights through their images. Highlighting the most compelling imagery - illustrating courage, despair, hope, injustice, compassion, human rights failures or victories in ways small and large - the images will serve to inspire people to personally get involved and to take a stand for human rights. The 2022 edition has turned its lens towards climate justice. Climate change is a human rights issue, so you’re welcome to submit images relate to people being impacted by climate change, and\/or people trying to reverse and\/or mitigate climate change. Images must concern current events. All submitted images must be taken between September 1, 2021 and September 1, 2022. You may submit up to five photographs. Copyright for all submitted photography is retained by the photographer. There is no entry fee. Eligibility: Open worldwide to anyone 18 years or older. Prize: The winner will receive 5,000 USD. Also, the winner and the top 10 finalists will be exhibited at United Nations Headquarters in NYC and globally on UN.org, beginning December 10, 2022 - UN Human Rights Day.
