Entry fee is $25 for up to 10 single images, $15 for each 6–8 image Photo Story submission. Eligibility: Open to all photographers worldwide, except for employees and associates of the California Academy of Sciences and their immediate families. Prize: The competition offers a Grand Prize: of $5,000 for the best overall image and $1,000 for the first place in each of the seven categories. Winners will have their work featured in the annual exhibit at the California Academy of Sciences. The competition also acknowledges up to six additional finalists in each category, with the exception of the Photo Story category, granting them certificates of recognition.
