Organised every two years by Nami Island, Korea, the International Nami Concours aims to encourage artists' creativity and contribute to the advancement of the quality of picture book illustrations. There is no restriction regarding the theme, and you are welcome to submit either original illustrations or digital prints of original illustrations as entries (please note that no entries will be returned). A set of illustrations should comprise one story, and each applicant can upload 5 to 10 images per entry. The size of each image may differ as long as the total sum is less than 20MB. However, each work should be at least 1024 pixels. Each applicant can apply up to 3 entries as long as they’re different works, and both published and unpublished illustrations will be judged equally. Applicants are also required to submit synopsis, as synopsis is important to help jury to understand submitted illustrations based on a flow of story. For this reason, each applicant is required to submit synopsis within 100 words in English. However, synopsis itself will not be graded as a part of judgment. There is no entry fee. Eligibility: Open to all picture book illustrators in the world.
