International digital arts festival, NEoN, has launched a design competition focusing upon this year’s curatorial theme, ‘character’.
The competition will give any aspiring artists the opportunity to circulate their work both in print and online, reaching a wide ranging audience.
There are three different categories tailored to suit each group of individuals; ‘Industry Guru’, ‘The Layperson’, and ‘For the Kids’ (under 16’s).
This year’s judging panel features designer duo Tado, Scott Downie from Hungry Boy, Fraser MacLean who has previously worked with both Warner Brothers and Disney studios, together with Sooper double D designer and part of the NEoN organising group, Lyall Bruce.
NEoN invites entries from any individuals who are passionate about design, whether industry professionals or casual doodlers.
Winning designs will be used on NEoN printed materials, 2% of which will be available for you to keep and all entries will be seen on our online gallery.
We have also teamed up with Teetonic, the online tee-shirt design competition site – competition entries can be viewed online and the punters vote for the best. Winning designs get a commission on every tee that is sold and of course your very own tee with your design on it.
