    A juried competition celebrates the best use of typography as the primary visual element in design and advertising, plus new typeface designs, calligraphy and hand-lettering.

    Categories include:

    • Collateral
    • Packaging
    • Media
    • Motion
    • Environmental
    • Unpublished/experimental

    Please note: entries must be registered no later than Midnight (Pacific Time Zone), September 7, 2012. Entries registered after that date require a late fee of $10 per entry. No entries will be accepted after September 21, 2012.

    Eligibility


    Any project printed, published or aired for the first time from September 2011 through September 2012 is eligible.

    Entries may originate from any country, but we need an English translation for the jurors.

    Prize


    Chosen by a jury of leading design professionals, the selected entries will be distributed worldwide in the Communication Arts Typography Annual and on commarts.com, assuring important exposure to the creators of this outstanding work.

    New for 2013: Each winning entrant will receive a personalized Award of Excellence, milled from solid aluminum.
